(Calstock, ON) On April 22, 2016, the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Intelligence and Drug Units, assisted by the Constance Lake Detachment and the Ontario Provincial Police Aboriginal Intelligence Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Constance Lake First Nation.

66 (sixty-six) year-old Ernest TAYLOR of Constance Lake First Nation was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. TAYLOR was not released from police custody and appeared in bail court on April 25, 2016.

The search warrant, issued under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, yielded police a quantity of Methamphetamine pills with a northern street value of three hundred ($300.00) dollars.

TAYLOR had previously been charged on April 9, 2016 by the Ontario Provincial Police for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. TAYLOR was in possession of 593 Methamphetamine pills.

Constance Lake First Nation is located approximately 290 km west of Timmins, Ontario.
