NAPS CONCLUDES DEATH INVESTIGATION IN CONSTANCE LAKE FIRST NATION Print

(Constance Lake, ON)  On April 12, 2014, at the Constance Lake First Nation, the Nishnawbe- Aski Police was called to a report of 24 year old Robert WHITE found unresponsive at his residence. 

WHITE was taken to Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst Ontario where he was admitted and treated. On April 13, 2014, Mr. WHITE remained unresponsive to treatment and arrangements were made for a transfer to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

On April 20, 2014, Mr. WHITE succumbed to his injuries and was sent for a post-mortem examination at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, Ontario. 

The result of the post-mortem examination in concert with the collaborated police investigation was that the death was ruled as an unfortunate accident. 

Constance Lake First Nation is located approximately 290 km west of Timmins, Ontario.
