NISHNAWBE-ASKI POLICE SEIZE $4,000 IN OXYCODONE IN FORT ALBANY Print

(Fort Albany, ON) On February 26, 2012, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and Fort Albany Detachment have charged one man after an investigation led members to seize a suspicious parcel that arrived by plane.

Police seized Oxycodone 5 mg prescription pills with a northern street value of approximately four-thousand forty ($4,040.00) dollars.

Forty-two (42) year-old Donny MARTIN of Fort Albany has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. MARTIN has since been released on conditions and will next appear in court on June 14, 2012, in Fort Albany, Ontario.

Fort Albany First Nation is located approximately 400 km north of Cochrane, Ontario.
