NISHNAWBE-ASKI POLICE INVESTIGATE THEFT FROM MINOR HOCKEY Print

(Moose Factory, ON) On November 1, 2011, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service completed an investigation into fraudulent activity conducted by a former President of the Moose Factory Minor Hockey Association resulting in one Moose Factory man being charged.

Thirty-three (33) year-old Terrance HARDISTY of Moose Cree First Nation has been charged with one count of Theft over $5.000.00 under the Criminal Code of Canada.  Police learned that a total of fifteen thousand nine-hundred twenty dollars ($15,920.00) had been made in unauthorized bank withdrawls

HARDISTY appears today in Bail court in Timmins, Ontario.

Moose Cree First Nation is approximately 300 kilometres north of Cochrane. Ontario.
