NISHNAWBE-ASKI POLICE INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH IN CAT LAKE FN Print

(Cat Lake, ON) On September 25, 2011, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Cat Lake Detachment began investigating the sudden death of a Cat Lake First Nation man.

Police were initially assisting in a search for eighty-three (83) year-old Charlie GRAY who was overdue from a hunting trip.  Mr. GRAY was later located near his boat with vital signs absent.

No foul play is suspected by police at this time, however a post-mortem is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Kenora.

Cat Lake First Nation is located approximately 550 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, ON.
