Fort Severn First Nation: Fire Destroys Police Detachment PDF Print E-mail

On December 24, 2008, at approximately 3:00 a.m. the Nishnawbe Aski Police detachment situated within the community of Fort Severn was destroyed by fire.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service.

Fort Severn First Nation is approximately 859 km (534 miles) north of Thunder Bay.
