BARRICADED PERSON INCIDENT UNDER INVESTIGATION IN NESKANTAGA FIRST NATION PDF Print E-mail

(Lansdowne House, ON) On Tuesday, January 13, 2015, in the First Nation Community of Neskantaga (Lansdowne House), Nishnawbe-Aski Police (NAPS) is currently investigating an incident of a barricaded person within a residence.

Both NAPS and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have activated the necessary resources to the community and are at the scene.

This incident is in its early stages and more information will be released once it has been received.

Neskantaga First Nation is located approximately 580 km northwest of Thunder Bay.
