(THUNDER BAY, ON)- On May 23, 2014 Drug Enforcement Officers of the Combined Forces Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a North Algonquin Street residence in Thunder Bay.

66 year old Wayne ALENKO of Thunder Bay, 53 year old Gordon YELLOWHEAD of Fort Hope and 41 year old Beverley JACOB of Webequie were arrested and charged with:

 1)    Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

2)    Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

ALENKO was also charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and Trafficking in Oxycodone contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Police investigators seized a total of 239.2 grams of Marihuana with a street value of $4784, 171.5 – 5mg Oxycodone pills with a street value of $6860 and $1505 in Canadian Currency. 

The Combined Forces Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau consists of members from the Ontario Provincial Police - Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Thunder Bay Police Service, the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and the Anishnabek Police Service.
