NAPS INTERCEPTS DRUGS DESTINED FOR EABAMETOONG FIRST NATION PDF Print E-mail

(Fort Hope, ON)  On January 3, 2013, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and Eabametoong Detachment members intercepted drugs destined for Eabametoong First Nation resulting in the arrest of a 19 year-old man.

Police seized approximately two thousand eight hundred forty ($2,840.00) dollars worth of 5 mg Oxycodone prescription pills and six hundred ($600.00) dollars worth of alcohol.

Nineteen (19) year-old Jared Simeon Robert YELLOWHEAD of Eabametoong First Nation has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.  YELLOWHEAD has been released on conditions and will next appear in court on March 21, 2013 in Eabametoong First Nation, Ontario.

Eabametoong First Nation is located approximately 385 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
