(Marten Falls, ON)  On December 21, 2012, the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit assisted the Ontario Provincial Police with a drug seizure destined for the remote northern community of Marten Falls First Nation.

Police seized Oxycodone 80 milligram prescription pills with a total northern street value of ten thousand two-hundred ($10,200.00) dollars.

Thirty-two (32) year-old Adrienne Cher OKEESE of Geraldton, Ontario has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  OKEESE has been released on conditions and will next appear in court on March 21, 2013 in Geraldton, Ontario.

Marten Falls First Nation is located approximately 450 km northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
