TWO DRUG SEIZURES AT NAPS KASHECHEWAN DETACHMENT PDF Print E-mail

(Kashechewan, ON)  The Nishnawbe-Aski Police members of the Kashechewan Detachment conducted two separate investigations under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and two men are charged as a result.

On Tuesday, May 22, 2012 police seized Marihuana with a street value of approximately ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars.  

Thirty-one (31) year-old George Peter Edward FRIDAY has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Substance.  FRIDAY has been released on conditions and will next appear in court on August 22, 2012 in Kashechewan, Ontario.

On Wednesday, May 23, 2012 police seized Oxycodone and Speed with a street value of approximately eight thousand ($8,000.00) dollars.

Fifty-three (53) year-old Alexander Daniel WESLEY has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Substance.  WESLEY has been released on conditions and will next appear in court on August 22, 2012 in Kashechewan, Ontario.

Kashechewan First Nation is located approximately 500 km northwest of Timmins, Ontario.
