NISHNAWBE-ASKI POLICE MOOSE FACTORY EXECUTE DRUG WARRANT PDF Print E-mail

(Moose Cree, ON)  On January 27, 2012, members of the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Moose Factory Detachment, NE Region Crime Unit, and members of the Ontario Provincial Police Moosonee Detachment executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence in Moose Cree First Nation.

 

A search of the residence located at 31 Jaban Street resulted in what police believe to be approximately 4.2 ounces of Cocaine with an approximate street value of nineteen thousand six hundred ($19,600.00) dollars, approximately eighty ($80.00) dollars in Canadian currency, along with various drug paraphernalia.

 

Sixty-five (65) year-old John WESLEY, sixty-two (62) year-old Lillian Evelyn WESLEY, and twenty-seven (27) year-old Nicole Robin WESLEY have each been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  All three have been released and will next appear in court in Moosonee on February 7, 2012.

 

Moose Cree First Nation is located 300 kilometres north of Cochrane, Ontario.
