(Moose Factory, ON) On December 13, 2011, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service members of the Moose Factory Detachment assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police Moosonee Detachment intercepted two men at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario located in Moosonee, Ontario who were attempting to transport alcohol to a remote northern community.

Police seized two hundred fifty five (255) units of various types of alcohol that totalled a northern street value of approximately seventeen thousand three hundred ($17,300.00) dollars.

Two adult males from Kashechewan First Nation will be summonsed to appear in court on March 5, 2012 in Moosonee, Ontario.

Kashechewan First Nation is located approximately 500 kms northwest of Timmins, Ontario.
