The Combined Forces Organized Crime Unit consists of members from The Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service, The Thunder Bay Police Service, The O.P.P.- Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, The R.C.M.P., and The Anishinabek Police Service.

(Fort Hope, ON)   On November 30, 2011, members of the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Drug Enforcement Unit along with members of the Eabametoong Detachment and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence located on the Eabametoong First Nation (Fort Hope).

A search of the residence resulted in a seizure of Oxycodone prescription pills and currency totaling seven thousand one hundred ($7,100.00) dollars. 

Thirty-seven (37) year-old Ricky Ronald OSTAMUS and forty-one (41) year-old Don Willie OSTAMUS have each been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  Both have been released on conditions and will appear next in court in Fort Hope on February 16, 2012.

Eabametoong First Nation is located approximately 385 km northeast of Thunder Bay.
