KASABONIKA NORTHERN STORE FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION BY NAPS PDF Print E-mail

(Kasabonika, ON) On April 22, 2011, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service received a report about a building fire in Kasabonika First Nation.

The Northern Store located in Kasabonika has been damaged due to the fire.  The cause of the fire is not known at this time and still under investigation pending the arrival of the Fire Marshall later this week.  There have been no reported injuries or deaths.

Kasabonika Lake First Nation is approximately 580 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.
