NORTH SPIRIT LAKE WOMAN CHARGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING PDF Print E-mail

(North Spirit Lake) On March 29, 2011, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service charged a woman for attempting to bring drugs into the First Nation community of North Spirit Lake.

Police seized 24.4 grams of Marijuana and 3.5 grams of Cocaine, each respectively totalling a northern street value of one thousand four hundred sixty-four dollars ($1,464.00) and one thousand fifty dollars ($1,050.00).

Thirty (30) year-old Tobia Victoria RAE from North Spirit Lake First Nation has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  RAE was released from custody on a Promise to Appear for court in North Spirit Lake on July 12, 2011.

North Spirit Lake First Nation is approximately 550 km northwest of Thunder Bay.
