(Fort Albany) On November 11, 2010, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service Fort Albany Detachment members investigated an incident of a large amount of alcohol that was received for the remote, northern First Nation.

Police seized a street value of eighteen thousand nine-hundred ($18,900.00) dollars of alcohol, which had been brought into Fort Albany by airplane.

The incident is still under investigation and charges are pending.

Fort Albany First Nation is located approximately 400 km north of Cochrane.
