LIQUOR SEIZURES CONTINUE FOR KASHECHEWAN PDF Print E-mail

(Kashechewan) On September 20, 2010, the Kashechewan Band Council intercepted liquor on a boat that destined for the First Nation community of Kashechewan.

Police received a significant number of 40 ounce and 26 ounce bottles of Rye and Vodka, totalling a street value of in excess of five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00).

Kashechewan First Nation is located along the west shore of James Bay, approximately 120 kilometres northwest of Moosonee, Ontario.
