(Sandy Lake, ON) On September 20, 2010, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service executed a search warrant at a residence located on the Sandy Lake First Nation.

With the assistance of members from the Drug Unit and Guns and Gang Unit, four long guns and associated ammunition were seized. 

This investigation is continuing and further updates will be made available.

Sandy Lake is located approximately 600 kilometres north west of Thunder Bay.
