TWO CHARGED IN DRUG INVESTIGATION PDF Print E-mail
(Eabametoong, ON) On June 11, 2010b members of the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service charged two women following a drug investigation in the First Nation Community of Eabametoong.

Thirty-one (31) year old Tanya SPENCE has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Trafficking a Controlled Substance. Twenty-seven (27) year old Frieda WABANO has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

NAPS seized approximately two thousand one hundred dollars ($2,100.00) worth of Oxycodone prescription pills and approximately one thousand three hundred dollars ($1,300.00) of currency.

Both parties have been released on a Promise to Appear in court in Eabametoong August 26, 2010.
