FOUR CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN FORT SEVERN FIRST NATION PDF Print E-mail
(Fort Severn, ON) On May 29, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service began an investigation into an aggravated assault that occurred in Fort Severn First Nation.

The victim, twenty-five-year-old (25) male Brian BLUECOAT was assaulted earlier that evening by four people while walking around the community. BLUECOAT was taken to the nursing station, treated for injuries and subsequently flown out to the Intensive Care Unit at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

BLUECOAT is currently receiving treatment for various injuries. His injuries include a fractured skull, damaged windpipe, a punctured lung, bruising to his body, and a partially amputated finger.

One adult and three youth have been charged in relation to the assault, the youths cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act;

Eighteen-year-old (18) Terrence CHILDSFOREVER has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Uttering Threats, and Breach of Undertaking.

A sixteen-year-old (16) male has been charged with Aggravated Assault, and Utter Threats.

A fourteen-year-old (14) male has been charged with Aggravated Assault, and Breach of Undertaking.

A fourteen-year-old (14) male has been charged with Aggravated Assault.

All four males are held in custody for a bail hearing June 2, 2010 in Kenora, Ontario.
