RESIDENTIAL FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION IN SANDY LAKE PDF Print E-mail
(Sandy Lake) On April 26, 2010, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service were notified of a house on fire in the First Nation community of Sandy Lake.

The fire occurred at a local residence. The house and two vehicles that were parked outside of the residence have been damaged. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire and the total amount of damage are both unknown that this time, as the matter is still under investigation.
Sandy Lake First Nation is approximately 600 km northwest of Thunder Bay.
