(Thunder Bay)
On July 16, 2009, Nishnawbe-Aski Police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a search at the Thunder Bay International Airport.

Police seized approximately seven-thousand, two-hundred dollars ($7,200.00) worth of Percocet prescription drugs.

Thirty-one (31) year old Linda Josephine Wabano of Eabametoong First Nation (Fort Hope) has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. She was released on conditions and a promise to appear for court in Thunder Bay on August 27, 2009.

The prescription drugs were destined for shipment to Eabametoong First Nation, located 385 kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay.
