On March 26th, 2009 police officers of Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service executed a CDSA warrant on a residence within the community of Kashechewan.

As a result, the officers located and seized a quantity of Marijuana with an estimated street value of approximately six- thousand, three hundred twenty eight dollars.($ 6328.00) along with eleven- hundred and ninety dollars in Canadian currency. Drug paraphernalia was also seized.

Thirty -two year old Pricilla Goodwin, forty-three-year old George Joseph Sackney and twenty-five year old Clayton Charles Sackney were arrested and charged with drug related charges.

They will appear in court on March 30, 2009 in Kashechewan First Nation.

Kashechewan is a remote fly in community situated approximately 357 km north of Cochrane, Ontario.
